Michelle Underhill MA CCC-SLP Northern Colorado Therapy Services LLC Speech Speech-Langauge Pathologist Therapist Fort Collins Loveland Larimer Weld County

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Fort Collins/Loveland area. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Colorado State University – Fort Collins in 1994, my Master’s Degree (MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado – Greeley in 1996, and my Certificate of Clinical Competence in 1998 (CCC-SLP).

With experience in adult rehabilitation for a full range of communication, cognitive, and swallowing difficulties, as well as end-of-life care, I am thrilled to offer speech-language therapy services directly to patients in more personalized manner through private practice. I have worked in a wide variety of settings, including private care, home health, hospital, skilled nursing, and outpatient.

I specialize in Parkinson’s disease, with additional training and certification in assessment and treatment techniques designed specifically to address the needs of people with Parkinson’s. I became certified in LSVT LOUD® (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) in 2011 to meet a predominant concern in people with Parkinson’s … the gradual loss of speech and voice. Communication with our loved ones and the greater community is vital to our well-being, and I believe strongly in fighting to hold onto it!

I enjoy spending time with my husband, two teenage children, and our yellow lab. I love to read, garden, crochet, and learn new things – I could be a perpetual student!
